Christmas Shopping and then some...

The past few weekends have been very eventful and busy! This year we were with Jed's family for Thanksgiving. We had a great weekend with the family! I took part in Black Friday (shopping) for the first time with Jed's sister Kristi! We got started at about 4:30 and were done around 10. It was lots of fun :) :) Christmas is almost here....YAY.... and we have been very busy getting ready for it. A couple Saturdays ago Jed was off to the Weber State vs. Montana football game so I got together with some of my girlfriends..Steph, Annie (baby Hazel), Lauren (baby Brody) that I had not seen in what was too too long. I miss them dearly and we all need to slow down and do it again more often!!! That same day Dani had a drill team competition at Davis High School so I stopped in for a few dances and hung out with my mom and aunts for a little bit. I also got started on my Christmas shopping. Last weekend was the Annual Girl's Overnight CHRISTMAS SHOPPING Trip with my mom and sisters. Dani had another drill competion on Saturday in Salt Lake so that is were we stayed so we could drop in for some of her dances also. We left Friday morning... shopped all day long and crawled into bed at about 2 in the morning. We literally shopped as much as we possibly could!!! Saturday morning we woke up to a nasty snow storm. We went over to the High School where the competition was going on and watched Dani and in between made about a dozen trips back and forth to the mall and other stores. It got to be kinda funny but it was fun. By the end of the day everyone had headed home but I stuck through it with my mom and stayed for the awards. We headed home about 9 and made one more stop in Riverdale at Target... as if we really needed to... ha ha! I finally made it home to my hubby and missed him lots!!!!!!! Just overnight is too long away from him. It was a good weekend though. I love my mom and sisters!! Thanks for a fun weekend!

Happy Halloween...

We had a fun Halloween! Haylee & Adam brought over Kyla as Minnie Mouse (I did not have my camera out yet...sad) Then Dani and Thomas came over as Anikan Skywalker and Queen Amidala. Ash and Tyler brought over Chloee as a little Dragon. I made caramel apples and cupcakes the night before and Jed's parents came and trick or treated for those. I wish the rest of both our families was closer so we could have seen the rest of the kids in their costumes. We love and miss those who didn't come over. Happy Halloween.

Flag Football

For the past three years Jed has been playing in the Tremonton Recreational Flag Football league. Tyler plays too so Ash and Chloee are there also. The team is Haws Family Dentistry and Jayson Haws is the "owner". Jayson is Tyler's cousin and Ash works at his office. Jayson's wife Melissa sits with us occasionally too. The games start in September and end about the end of Octoberish or the first of Novemberish so throughout we are either fighting off mosquitos or freezing our butts off. Jed really loves it and has a few friends that also play with and I really have fun watching him and hanging with Ash and Chloee. This year they went undefeated up until the Championship game and lost a REALLY close game. Nice job boys!!!

In the past month two of our nieces, Halley and Kyla, had Birthdays and I decided to make them both tutus. What girl at any age doesn't love a tutu!!! They turned out so cute and from what I hear they both love them! I better have a girl myself one day!!!!

Dairy Wives Convention

So I am not a Dairy Wife but.... my grandma is :) and my mom, aunts, and the grandaughters have been going to this for a long time. This year I finally took off work and went a few weeks ago (still catching up). Lunch was great and the motivational speaker was Mary Nickels from Channel 2 News. She has a really fun personality and had a great little message about taking care of yourself... sure pedicures, facials and that sort of stuff is nice but she was talking of screenings...and seeing the good old Dr. so that you will always be there for the ones you love and the ones that love you. She was really funny and sweet. After that we walked around the little shops of Gardner Village. SO much fun to have a little day with the girls!

I Love the Fall, Love the pumpkins, Love the leaves, Love Halloween, Love Witches, Love it all....
